I guess I'm one of the few people who had a terrible experience w/ this company. Nonetheless, I gave them so many chances to fix their mistakes and get the install right, but they just keep dropping the ball.I bought a new home in May. One of the A/C units started to turn off, creating a hot zone in the home. We brought a repairman out to look at it, and he showed us pictures of mold and rust from the inside of the units. The home was 13 years old, as were the A/C units, so I decided to simply get all three units replaced, inside and out.We received quotes from both CoolToday and Sean McCutcheon. The quotes were similar and both companies had great reviews online. I'd even had personal recommendations from friends for both companies. It was a toss up but we decided to use CoolToday, primarily b/c it was slightly cheaper and because they offer "filters for life", which has some added value.I see now I should have gone w/ someone else, namely Sean McCutcheon Air. I made my bed and I've got to live w/ my decision to use CoolToday but I would change that decision if I could.The quote was to install three brand new systems. One of the systems needed all of its duct lines replaced because the current line was too small for its size and the other two were getting the first 12' in each direction replaced, in order to get rid of any mold that might have been growing in the duct lines from the old system.They replaced only a single duct line and claimed to my wife that the other ones "looked fine" and should be okay to leave in. First, the quote (all $15,000 of it) included the cost of replacing the other duct lines so I do not appreciate an install team deciding at run-time to just not do something I am paying for and second, I've got a two-year old daughter and a pregnant wife. I don't want duct lines that "look okay". I wanted new duct lines.I called the sales rep, who acted appalled that they install team went off script. We agreed that I would hold back $2,000 from the full payment and that I would make the balance of the payment when the work was completely as agreed. I was told "the install team will contact you."I'm glad I held back some money because it's been two weeks and they haven't contacted me. I've called twice looking to get in touch w/ someone who can schedule a crew to replace the duct lines as quoted. No luck.I'm not even mentioning that the master bedroom A/C went out on the first night (in July) and my pregnant wife had to sleep on the couch. I understand things go wrong and I'm okay with that. They came out the next day and fixed that issue. it's not great that their brand new system doesn't last 1 day, but at least they fixed it.I'm also not going to belabor the fact that I specifically asked for and paid extra for wi-fi thermostats. I asked for and was assured that they would be programmed before the install team left. Of course they didn't help w/ any of that at all. They left some instruction manuals and we had to get reading!In the end, this company seems to want to sell you one thing and assure you they'll take care of everything you ask for even though they have little intention of actually following through.I would have been much more okay about this situation had they been honest upfront about what they planned on installing and who would be responsible for programming the thermostats.They're obviously not a "terrible" company; they've been around awhile and have got great reviews and, as I stated, I received a recommendation from a good friend. As far as I know, they do the job to some degree and you get a system. I would triple-check the quote and the work concluded to make sure they don't skip some steps.I'm not a picky customer, but I do expect to at least get what I pay for. I only expect what was promised, especially when it was the difference between one quote and another from another company.I don't want or expect one ounce more of effort than what was quoted, promised and agreed upon. I didn't get that.

Can't say enough about Rick. Really went the extra mile in helping me select the right AC products that would best fit my needs. After product selection also went out of way to help me find the most rebates and ways to fit my budget. Very knowledgeable and easy to work with, would recommend to anybody.Update:Installation occurred today. Team did an amazing job. Had 2 units replaced, including one very difficult attic/ crawl space location. Finished within one day, everything working like a charm. Top notch all around!

Shawn Wentich came this evening to repair a faulty faucet which apparently had been leaking for quite a while. We dicscoverd this when water was streaming out fron under our dishwasher. We did not know the cause. As it a pipe or what? Shawn quickly assessed the problem and replaced the faucet which appears to be more practical ( taller so large pots can fit ) . It also matches our other appliances in brushed nickle . While is was expensive, we felt the life time warranty as well as the total price included the service and installation was worth it. Shawn was knowledgeable, pleasant and had a clean appearance. This is our second experience with Cool and we will definitely use them again, requesting Shawn

Steve Cooper was here today to clean the clothes dryer vent. The vent exits through the roof, so it's not a do it yourself project. Steve was great, efficient and personable to boot! He represented CoolToday in the best way and described the service plans. I'm enrolling in Plan A because of his description and enthusiasm.

Both techs. Justin, drain man, and Jerry, drain pipe under sink beautification , were super polite and professional . when Justin saw the real problem , I think he actually had tears in his eyes reporting it all to me.

Steve Williams serviced my air conditioner for Cool Today. He arrived on time and was personable, experienced and professional. He supplied me with a year's worth of the proper filter for my unit, corrected a previous repair and did some maintenance that other techs have not performed. My system is running well and I am pleased with the service from Steve and Cool Today.

Bryan Baker & assistant John were on time, professional, price was same as final estimate, they worked with MY schedule, & our hot water heater works great! They had to do some extra tweaks to replace our old solar water heater, & went above & beyond the call of duty. Thank You Bryan & John, & Plumbing today. We called upon a neighbors recommendation. AC out and registering 94 degrees. Steven H, technician, came out same day. Very courteous, wore shoe protectors. Fixed problem. We will use Cool Today if we have the need.
